Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using our website and services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. All bookings are subject to these Terms & Conditions. Bookings are complete and binding when confirmation is received, whether verbally or in writing, and when the required deposit is received from the client, at which time the deposit becomes non-refundable. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our website or services. Your continued use constitutes acceptance of any updates.

Services Provided

TravelsRoute offers private minibus and coach hire services with professional drivers for safe, comfortable journeys. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service without prior notice. TravelsRoute may cancel, suspend, alter, or withdraw any booked service if unable to fulfill the journey for reasons such as vehicle breakdown, driver unavailability, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, a full refund of monies paid for the canceled service will be provided. We are not liable for extra costs incurred for last-minute arrangements.

User Responsibilities

  • Accuracy of Information: You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when booking. Discrepancies may affect service delivery.

  • Lawful Use: You agree to use our services in compliance with all applicable laws and not for any unlawful purpose.

  • Vehicle Conduct: The hirer is responsible for any damage caused to the vehicle or its fittings by any member of the party, whether willful or negligent. The hirer shall repay TravelsRoute or the contractor the cost of repairs and any losses due to vehicle downtime.

  • Route Adherence: The journey route is arranged by TravelsRoute unless specified by the hirer. Any deviation requested post-booking that increases mileage or time will incur additional costs.

Account Security

  • Confidentiality: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

  • Unauthorized Use: If you suspect your account has been compromised, contact us immediately to take corrective action.

Payment and Fees

  • Payment Terms: All payments must be made per the pricing and terms on our website. A minimum non-refundable deposit of 30% is required to secure a booking unless otherwise agreed. Full payment is required before departure. All transactions are processed via Stripe.

  • Fee Changes: Charges are based on prevailing prices at the time of service use and may change without notice due to exchange rates or fare adjustments.

  • Duplicate Payments: If a duplicate payment or payment in error is made, a 5% admin fee will be deducted from the refund.

Cancellation and Refunds

  • Deposit: A non-refundable 30% deposit is required to secure your booking. If TravelsRoute cannot fulfill the journey, the deposit will be refunded.

  • Cancellation Charges: The following charges apply for cancellations:

    • More than 25 days before: 30% of total cost.
    • 14-25 days before: 30% of total cost.
    • 7-14 days before: 50% of total cost.
    • 48 hours to 7 days before: 75% of total cost.
    • Less than 48 hours before: 100% of total cost.

  • Non-Refundable Once Boarded: Once passengers board the vehicle, the contract is considered fulfilled, and no refunds will be issued.

  • Additional Services Cancellation: If additional services (e.g., meals, accommodation) are canceled, any provider-imposed fees will be passed to the hirer.

  • Refund Process: Refunds will be processed within 14 days, minus applicable charges.

  • No-Show Policy: A "No Show" occurs if a passenger fails to meet the driver at the specified time and location without notification, including incorrect booking details or failure to contact within one hour of scheduled pick-up. Full cost will be charged, and pre-paid bookings will not be refunded.

Vehicle Requirements

  • Vehicle Substitution: TravelsRoute reserves the right to supply larger or smaller vehicles to accommodate passengers if the booked vehicle is unavailable. In case of a breakdown, alternative vehicles, including taxis, may be used without additional charge.

  • Restrictions: No animals (except guide dogs), alcoholic drinks, smoking, or fast food are permitted on vehicles unless agreed. Laughing gas(Nitrous oxide) is not allowed to be carried or used during the travel for the safety of all passengers and the driver. Heavy luggage must be stored in designated lockers, and no items should obstruct gangways or exits.

  • Child Seats: If provided, child seats are used at the accompanying adult's discretion, and TravelsRoute accepts no responsibility for their adequacy.

Passenger and Driver Advice

  • Passenger Precautions: Passengers are advised not to travel if unwell or exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms. Face coverings are recommended, and passengers should use tissues for coughs/sneezes, dispose of them safely, and maintain social distancing.

  • Driver Precautions: Drivers are advised to wear face coverings if safe, ensure vehicle ventilation, clean commonly touched surfaces, and maintain physical distance. They must wash hands regularly and handle luggage with care.

Limitation of Liability

  • General Limitation: TravelsRoute is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits or data, arising from service use. TravelsRoute is not responsible for losses due to accidents, traffic delays, or missed flights unless notified promptly.

  • Direct Damages: Liability is limited to the amount paid for the service. TravelsRoute is not responsible for goods lost, stolen, or damaged, or for injuries during boarding/alighting.

  • Driver Authority: The driver may refuse to carry or remove passengers deemed a nuisance or unsafe, with no refunds issued.

  • Vehicle Breakdown and Alternate Hire: TravelsRoute will not be liable to pay any extra cost incurred due to the breakdown of one vehicle. If the passenger/client books an alternate on the day of the trip, TravelsRoute will not be liable to pay the additional cost incurred due to the last-minute hire from a different source.

  • Consent: By using our services, you consent to our Privacy Policy practices.

Changes to Terms

  • Updates: We may update these Terms periodically. Changes will be posted on our website and take effect immediately.

  • Notification: Significant changes will be communicated via email or our website. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.
