Blackpool's seafront is busy all season, especially when the Illuminations are on. We collect groups from across Lancashire, bring them to hotels near the promenade and agree pickup points away from the busiest stretches.

Blackpool is one of the UK's busiest seaside resorts, and most group trips here are about having fun: stag and hen weekends, coach holidays, family days at the Pleasure Beach and evenings at the Tower Ballroom. The Winter Gardens also hosts conferences and big events, and the Illuminations bring huge crowds every autumn.
The Promenade is the town's main road, and during the Illuminations it fills with slow-moving traffic every evening. Planning the route and the drop-off point makes the difference between a smooth night out and a long wait.

During the Illuminations, the Promenade is slow every evening, especially at weekends. Coaches use set drop-off and parking areas, and groups on a night out are dropped at a point near the venue rather than in the middle of the Promenade traffic.
The trams run along the Promenade, so vehicles cannot stop on the tram tracks. Hotels on the seafront often have a side road or rear entrance that works better for pickups.

Stag and hen groups usually book a 16 seater minibus for the weekend, which can drop off close to bars and the Promenade. Coach holiday groups and school trips use a full-size coach.
Groups arriving for a long weekend often bring more luggage than expected, so check the boot space when choosing a minibus.
Spring and summer bring families, school trips and coach holidays. The Illuminations run from late summer into the new year, with the busiest weekends in September and October. The Winter Gardens hosts dance festivals and conferences through the year, and stag and hen weekends are busy all year round.
